Last chance to go and see Claire Curneen’s exhibition ‘Passage’ 20.03.2010 – 09.05.2010

The exhibition is accompanied by a booklet with a review by me, quite pleased with it. i look forward to opportunities like this to write about such poetic work. it really allows me to stretch my verbal legs – if i really need an opportunity!</p> <p>I held an ‘in conversation’ with Claire in the exhibition space at Craft in the Bay on Saturday 27th March at 11am. we filmed the event and as i edited it last week i think i spoke far too much. its just the whole idea of an ‘in conversation’ seemed too good an opportunity to miss – its not a review where a critic often imposes their ideas, its not an interview where the artist is led its more a collaboration between critic and artist, hopefully where new ideas can arise.
